I’m the developer of a similar iPhone/iPod Touch application called dynamicDICE. It is a true 3d dice simulator, not a calculator or random number generator. It supports 5 independent tables, 20 backgrounds, 20 dice styles, all RPG dice types, 3d physics engine, full 3d view, and multi-language support. Check it out...I hope you enjoy.

You've got to be kidding me. I've had a very similar app in my Palm based handheld since 2004 (and in fact it also kept track of my char sheet v3.5 in real time). Yeah, sure, it's not "shake" sensitive but does the exact same thing. How's this innovative? And also if there's one or more pedantic players in your group (you know, the ones that will argue every single rule, action and/or roll -- he/she would even question whether the die are biased) this would only feed that fire. Look at how it rolls again "automatically" as soon as he sets his iPhone on the table. Just a bunch of hype (as is any related to the iPhone).

Is it foolish to want an iPhone simply to get this dice app?

Seriously, that's about the coolest thing I've seen in years.
