Great links JD. I especially enjoyed Mearls’ thoughts on the impact of the OGL. Would you mind commenting and sharing yours?

@Alfred: It’s hard to say anything Mearls hasn’t phrased better. I think the OGL has been a great boon to writers and publishers, but it did lead to a great deal of mediocre third-party material and discouraged fans from releasing their material for free.
